Barbara Schmidt is a world traveler with Scandinavian roots and a prop collection with it’s own address. She is based in the Midwest with strong ties to a certain brownstone in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and a special boathouse on San Francisco’s Tomales Bay. She is a consistent advocate on social media posting from around the country and globally wherever her sourcing takes her.

When she comes home, Barbara and her husband are themselves rescued by their family. They include Atacama the Chilean wonder dog, Francois the climbing Tuxedo boy, Circe the dumpster diving Calico and Sophie the double merle Aussie.
